Bridge and Autumn Colours in Fog and Rain
A few weeks ago, on Sept. 26th (2010), my husband and I set off for Quebec City, stayed there overnight and then boarded a cruise ship for a 10-day cruise of eastern Canada and New England. The ship "overnighted" in Quebec, and on the 28th, I took an excursion to visit the Montmornecy Falls and nearby Ste. Anne de Beaupre, with its beautiful basilica. Unfortunately, the weather was far from coopderative. It was foggy, windy and rainy. I shot this image of a bridge near the falls while trying to juggle my camera in one hand and an umbrella in the other. However, the wonderful fall scenery in the Quebec countryside and the beauty of the falls and the basilica helped make the day seem brighter.
